Kennett Square on Velvia film

September 24, 2012  •  2 Comments

I've been going around the local area getting used to my "new" film-camera, trying to find things that will really take advantage of the colors you get from Fuji Velvia 50 slide-film.

I found a few places in Kennett Square which turned out pretty descent and figured I'd share them.

Kennett Square PA is known as the mushroom capital of the world, which means there are tons of mushroom houses here.  So I thought it would make sense to get a few pictures of them.  Take a look:

And this last shot is of a mural painted on a church in downtown Kennett:

And there you go - just a quick posting to share my ongoing experiment with film-photography, and to show a little slice of Kennett Square while we're at it.  Till next time, go get yourself some mushrooms - and make sure they're from Kennett Square!

Captures the area well, in just three images!

Great pictures. I really like the last one, it reminds me of staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Great work, bro!
