Not too long ago, our family went over to Frawley Stadium to watch a Wilmington Blue Rocks minor league baseball game. This is always a great time for families, because it's cheap, clean, not too large, easy to get to and park, and just plain old fun.
I got a handful of pictures from the game and thought I'd share.
Here's what the stadium looks like from the parking lot:
Once you get inside, the feel of good old fashioned American baseball is all around you. To the left, you see the hometown mascot name boldly plastered across the main building:
And to the right, the lights!
Unfortunately, that night our Blue Rocks didn't emerge victorious. But that's not what matters - what matters is the experience. Play ball!
