It's that time of year kids - fall! That means pumpkins, apple cider, great running weather, and of course, fall colors.
Thought I'd throw out a couple of quick shots taken recently at Rockford Park in Wilmington Delaware. Here's a simple tree for you. I'd like to try and swing by here again soon before the colors peak and make sure I'm there for sunrise or sunset light - these are mid-day, but oh well:
There is a statue in Rockford Park of Samuel Francis duPont which I also grabbed a shot of. It's amazing, you'd think the entire state of Delaware was built by the duPont family - they're everywhere!
I think these fall colors show up well on film - gives it a classic look. For these, I used Kodak Ektar 100, which turned out nice, but I think I'm still partial to Velvia 50. I keep reading rumors that it will be discontinued, so I just bought 25 rolls and put them in my freezer! Maybe a little paranoid, but better safe than sorry. See you next time!
